Surfing in Crete for the whole family
Super fun surf session today in the bay of Kissamos. The waves were just right for us to train with as many repetitions possible what we learn in the surf course. Today the focus of the surf lesson was trying our first turns. Andy showed our participants how the back hand and front hand turn gets done. Shifting the weight, twisting the upper body. With patience the surfboard will follow. In the future we want to ride along the face of the wave! Highlight of the day was probably for Tjard who was allowed to follow in the footsteps of his surfing sisters and catch a couple of waves with the help of our own surf instructor Andy.
