Summer time and the waves are glassy
"Dawn patrol" as they say in the world of surfing. Today we started early in the morning to get the best glassy waves of the day in Falasarna in the west coast of Crete. The beach was still deserted but all the umbrellas and sunbeds were ready for the influx of beach goers that come throughout the day. Our family from The Netherlands had their third surf lesson and our daily visitors from Germany their 6th and first lesson. Thanks for driving all the way from Georgioupoli to Kalo Surf in Kissamos. The course started as usual with a nice warm up to loosen up our stiff muscle and to get some stretching in. After the safety explanations, Surf coach Andy gave everybody an individual task to train for today and they all tried it later on in the water.
