Pop up! Surfing in Crete with Kalo Surf
Today's surf lesson in Kissamos was all about the pop up! Andy taught Imge and Sarah the correct technique on land - back foot, front foot - and assisted them with it in the water. It was hard at first because once you are used to do something in a certain way, it is hard to correct. Your body just remembers it otherwise. The girls did not give up and with a lot of patience and perseverance they managed to pop up and ride some wonderful waves in the end. Hard work pays off.
