Surfing with Kalo Surf in Chania
For today's lesson, surf coach Andy chose a promising bay in the Chania area. It has a good shallow sandbank where the waves are breaking and is covered from the big storms. Our group consisted of Melanie, Leo, Paul and Olli with the addition of Jette who went on surfari with us. As usual we started with a nice warm up. Then Andy brought everyone to the same level of basics. While Jette and Paul paddled out to catch some really nice waves, the others stayed closer to the inside section to practice catching waves on their own. It was a surf lesson full of joy and small personal victories.
