Group lesson on the reef in Crete
Today Andy had a challenge for the whole group: Let's go to the reef in Falassarna! At the first instant it seems a bit scary not to be able to step on the ocean floor and to depend on your paddling power. In reality with a good guidance of an experienced coach, the reef provides more organized waves and you have plenty of time to recover after your ride in the channel. The whole group was very impressed by Christine, our 61 year old senior surfer. She immediately understood the principal of the reef circle and paddled right in the beginning of the session for the very first wave - and made it to catch it and surf. What a great moment!
