Morning Surf Course in Crete
Paddling out in the bay of Kissamos, beautiful glassy waves of all sizes.
As usual we started our course by changing into the wetsuits, unloading the boards from the surf van and putting the leash on the board. Then we did a nice morning warm up and going to the movements on land. We had a dry run of the the whole process of catching a wave and surfing it: Paddling, pop up, turn! Then we walked to the beach and Andy explained how we circulate, thus not to disturb the ones surfing when walking or paddling back to the line up. Then it was all about the practice: catching waves and take off and for the ones who had a bit more experience executing the turn.
