Fun Times at the Surf Course in Falassarna
It's always a good day to start surfing with a surf lesson at Kalo Surf surf school. Today Anna, and two Yiannides were joined by veteran surfer Christine, who showed them the end goal ;) Because in the afternoon the air is often already quite hot, we went immediately with our wetsuits to cool down in the water. There Andy held the first lesson on safety signals and some basics. Then Christine paddled out to catch some waves further out. Andy showed our new surfers how to handle the equipment and safely navigate through the waves. Then it was time to catch the first waves in the water. After a couple of exercises our group learned how to pop up and joined Christine catching waves and riding them.
