Cheers and Good Vibes at the Surf Lesson today in Crete
Inviting conditions once again today in Crete for a beginner surf lesson. The waves in the morning in Crete were glassy & had just the right height and power. As per usual Kalo Surf surf instructor, Andy, first makes sure to familiarise our learning surfers with their equipment. For many it's the first time even wearing a wetsuit or carrying the board. When we're all geared up, we hit the beach and start with introductions and a warm up. All excited our participants can't wait to start with the first exercises and get wet. Oscar was our more advanced surfer today and after a few instructions and corrections from Andy, he hit the water first. For the others the most important part today, was to find the balance on the board and how to catch the wave. In a further step we covered how to correctly pop up on the board. Our surfers all had some great rides all the while cheering each other on.
