Glassy morning Surf in Kissamos in October
October conditions in Kissamos are ideal for surfing once again. This morning we arrived on our beach break to find glassy waves with little wind and some sunshine. We changed from summer to winter wetsuits only a week ago, but today we could have stayed with the shorties. That's how pleasant the weather and the water temperature are in Crete in October!
At the beginning of the surf lesson, Andy made sure that all are on the same page, by repeating some basic surf knowledge. Then we went in the water and practiced catching waves by pushing & jumping and finding the correct position on the board. At the end of the lesson, all paddled out to catch green waves and have longer rides. Well done, guys!
