Day 4 for Bascha, Simon and Emily. They put in a lot of hard work with Andy and we can proudly say our training paid off. When surfing in Crete sometimes you need a little extra time on the board to work on movement patterns to execute them in the water. Just ask the proriders how they train! Emily mastered her turns, Bascha got some really nice rides and Simon... is just Simon. Andy and Simon have a special bond and we look forward to seeing them again soon surfing in Greece!
When the sea is nice and calm, it is the perfect opportunity to go paddle boarding in the morning. The change of view makes for an unforgettable experience. Our group today saw a big sea turtle, a kareta kareta!!!!
Our surf skates improve your overall board feeling and allow you to practice specific movements on dry land. Our girl group from Iceland were never taught how to skate professionally. They started out wobbly and a bit skeptical. By the end of the course they could accelerate, make turns and were completely stoked! Let's see how the new found skills translate to the water surfing in Crete!
Stormy weather, partial sun with clouds - but warm waters and empty surf spots, was the report of the day! Not our normal sunny weather, but our surfers were brave enough to paddle and catch some really nice waves.
